Ayodhya seer, and the chief priest of the Tapaswi Chawni temple, Paramhans Acharya has announced a hefty reward of Rs 10 crore for the beheading of DMK leader Udhayanidhi Stalin. The seer's offer comes in response to Stalin's alleged remarks against 'Sanatan Dharma,' sparking a heated controversy.
Acharya, speaking boldly, stated, "I will pay Rs 10 crore cash reward to anyone who beheads Stalin and brings his head to me. If no one dares to kill Stalin, I will myself find him and kill him."
Stalin, who serves as the Tamil Nadu youth welfare minister, has faced immense backlash for his comments on 'Sanatan Dharma,' suggesting that it opposes principles of equality and social justice and should be eradicated. He even drew a controversial parallel, likening 'Sanatan Dharma' to diseases like coronavirus, malaria, and dengue fever, and insisted that it must not only be opposed but destroyed.
The escalating tension has also led to heightened security measures outside Tamil Nadu Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin's residence in Chennai, as authorities take precautions to ensure his safety.
This is not the first time that Paramhans Acharya has made such an announcement. Previously, he offered rewards in response to Samajwadi Party leader Swami Prasad Maurya's comments on Ramcharitmanas and Shahrukh Khan's portrayal of saffron attire in his blockbuster movie Pathaan. In response to these threats, Maurya questioned, "Now if seers and mahants are announcing a bounty on my head, shouldn't they be called terrorists?"
Acharya, undeterred by the backlash, emphasized, "Sanatan Dharma neither has a beginning nor an end. It has never been destroyed and can never be destroyed." He issued a stern warning, stating that anyone attempting to harm 'Sanatan Dharma' would face dire consequences.
