On the other hand, Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd.(down 2.27 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(down 1.62 per cent), Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd.(down 0.24 per cent), Oberoi Realty Ltd.(down 0.04 per cent) and Phoenix Mills Ltd.(down 0.02 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 1.15 per cent up at 570.15.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 93.5 points at 19528.8, while the BSE Sensex stood up 240.98 points at 65628.14.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 31 ended in the green, while 19 closed in the red.
Shares of YES Bank, Indian Railway Fin, JP Power, Vodafone Idea and Rail Vikas Nigam were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of MMTC, Indian Railway Fin, De Neers Tools, All E Technologies and JP Associates hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while CMI Ltd, Penta Gold, Rajvir Ind, FutureLifestyleFash and Sanco Industries hit their fresh 52-week lows.
