    Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Friday's session

    NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 555.75 points up at 65387.16 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

    On the BSE, Atal Realtech(down 19.97 per cent), Escorp Asset Manage(down 10.00 per cent), Sun Retail(down 9.68 per cent), Shantidoot Infra Ser(down 9.08 per cent) and Ashiana Ispat(down 8.68 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.

    In the Nifty pack, 41 stocks closed in the green, while 9 stocks ended in the red.

    The index closed 181.5 points up at 19435.3.

    On the BSE, Sarthak Ind, Shoora Designs, Integra Capital, Lead Financial and Shekhawati Poly hit their fresh 52-week lows, while OneGlobalSvcProvider, Adarsh Plant, Kaka Industries, Pokarna Ltd and Railtel Corp touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
