HS Prannoy vs Vitidsarn, BWF World Championship 2023 LIVE: Prannoy Gunning For Place in Final

The 21-year-old world number 1 An Se Young stamps her authority over her Chinese opponent Chen Yu Fei, takes the first game 21-19.

The crowd here at Roal Arena in Copenhagen, Denmark goes berserk! Kim Astrup, Anders Rasmussen are into the final, they’ve turned it around. They lost the first game 17-21, then they roared back to 21-18, and won the last game by 21-19 to advance into the World Championships 2023 final.

The world number 9 ousted Loh Kean Yew 21-18, 15-21, 21-19 in round of 16 before dumping out world number 1 and defending champion Viktor Axelsen 13-21, 21-15, 21-16.

The past record between HS Prannoy and Kunlavut Vitidsarn reads in the favour of the Thailand shuttler, only one game between the two, Vitidsarn prevailed in the Round of 32 at the All England Open 2022 with a score of 21-15, 24-22.

HS Prannoy will face off against the third-seeded Kunlavut Vitidsarn from Thailand. The clash will take place at the Roal Arena in Copenhagen, Denmark on court 1. Currently, Akane Yamaguchi and Carolina Marin are on the mat.

Liang Keng, Wang Chang will faceoff against Kim Astrup Anders Rasmussen next. After that An Se Young will face off vs Chen Yu Fei, after which it will be time for Prannoy vs Vitidsarn.
