    The NSE Nifty index closed 2.85 points up at 19396.45

    NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 21.12 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 18.96 crore), Trident Ltd(numbers of share traded: 15.25 crore), Reliance Power(numbers of share traded: 13.76 crore), RattanIndia Power (numbers of share traded: 13.37 crore), South Indian Bnk(numbers of share traded: 12.08 crore), Zomato(numbers of share traded: 10.44 crore), BHEL(numbers of share traded: 10.09 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 8.05 crore) and YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 7.67 crore) emerged top gainers in Tuesday's market in terms of trading volume.

    The NSE Nifty index closed 2.85 points up at 19396.45, while BSE Sensex ended up 3.94 points at 65220.03.

    On the other hand, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 1.46 per cent), Cipla Ltd.(down 1.04 per cent), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(down 0.71 per cent), Eicher Motors Ltd.(down 0.66 per cent) and Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(down 0.57 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
