Getty ImagesThe NSE Nifty index ended the session 99.75 points down at 19365.25, while BSE Sensex fell 388.4 points to 65151.02.
In the Nifty index, Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 4.32 per cent), Titan Company Ltd.(up 2.01 per cent), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(up 1.42 per cent), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(up 1.24 per cent) and State Bank of India(up 1.20 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, ITC Ltd.(down 2.05 per cent), LTIMindtree Ltd.(down 1.93 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 1.75 per cent), Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.54 per cent) and Reliance Industries Ltd.(down 1.44 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
