Mawana Sugars(down 5.27%), Ugar Sugar Works(down 3.34%), Shree Renuka Sugars(down 2.81%), Rajshree Sugars & Chemicals(down 2.71%), Dhampur Sugar Mills(down 2.18%), KCP Sugar & Industries(down 2.17%), AVADHSUGAR(down 2.08%), Simbhaoli Sugars(down 1.83%), Sakthi Sugars(down 1.39%) and Rana Sugars(down 0.83%) were among the top losers of the day.
The NSE Nifty50 index ended 6.25 points up at 19434.55, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed up 79.27 points at 65401.92.
LTIMindtree Ltd(up 1.68%), Infosys(up 1.58%), Divis Laboratories(up 1.4%), Hindustan Unilever(up 1.25%), Reliance Industries(up 1.18%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(up 0.93%), Larsen & Toubro(up 0.81%), ICICI Bank(up 0.7%), Asian Paints(up 0.54%) and Wipro(up 0.51%) stood among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Adani Enterprises(down 3.29%), JSW Steel(down 2.58%), Hindalco Industries(down 2.52%), State Bank of India(down 2.33%), Tata Steel(down 1.79%), Apollo Hospitals Enterprises(down 1.74%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(down 1.74%), UPL Ltd(down 1.57%), Eicher Motors(down 1.49%) and Bajaj Finserv(down 1.46%) closed in the red.
