    Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of traded value

    NEW DELHI: RIL(Rs. 2811.82 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 2294.42 crore), Adani Ent.(Rs. 1826.86 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 1640.15 crore), Zee Ent.(Rs. 1407.87 crore), Supreme Ind.(Rs. 1352.08 crore), REC(Rs. 1311.07 crore), SBI(Rs. 1048.37 crore), Axis Bank(Rs. 896.64 crore) and HCL Tech(Rs. 868.62 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Friday's session.

    The NSE Nifty index ended the session 114.8 points down at 19428.3, while BSE Sensex fell 365.53 points to 65322.65.

    In the Nifty index, HCL Technologies Ltd.(up 3.28 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(up 1.03 per cent), Titan Company Ltd.(up 0.96 per cent), Reliance Industries Ltd.(up 0.42 per cent) and UltraTech Cement Ltd.(up 0.38 per cent) stood among the top gainers.

    On the other hand, IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 2.30 per cent), NTPC Ltd.(down 2.02 per cent), Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.77 per cent), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 1.71 per cent) and UPL Ltd.(down 1.63 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
