Getty ImagesNEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 365.53 points down at 65322.65 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Victory Paper(down 16.88 per cent), Ugar Sugar Work(down 13.63 per cent), Graviss Hosp(down 13.28 per cent), Somany Home(down 13.03 per cent) and Polymech Mac(down 12.06 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 10 stocks closed in the green, while 39 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 114.8 points down at 19428.3.
On the BSE, Jet Infraventure, Digjam L, Sirohia & Sons, Transindia Real Esta and Span Divergent hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Alphalogic Industrie, Premco Global, IST Ltd, Cupid Ltd and Ashapura Mine touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
