    Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

    NEW DELHI: Shares of Tridhya Tech, Tasty Bite Eatable, Aarey Drugs Ph, Hind Const Co and Birla Cable, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Wednesday's trade on NSE.

    Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 61.7 points up at 19632.55 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

    However, stocks such as Reliance Home Fin, Vinny Overseas, Richa Info Systems L, Advitiya Trade India and Pentagon Rubber, touched their fresh 52-week lows.

    Overall, 33 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 16 closed in the red.

    In the Nifty 50 index, Dr. Reddys, Hindalco, JSW Steel, Tata Motors and M&M were among top gainers during the day, while Divis Labs, Apollo Hospital, Maruti Suzuki, ICICI Bank and Bajaj Finance ended in the red.

    The BSE Sensex closed 149.31 points up at 65995.81.

    Traders piled up positions in Miscellaneous, Telecommunications, Mining, Metals - Non Ferrous and Defence sectors, while selling was witnessed in Banks, Irrigation & Allied Services, Building Materials, Leather and Electric/Electronics sectors during the day.
