Zomato posts first-ever profit of Rs 2 cr in Q1; revenue up 71% YoY
Food delivery platform Zomato reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 2 crore for the quarter ended June 2023 against a loss of Rs 186 crore in the corresponding quarter of the last financial year. The company reported a loss of Rs 189 crore in the quarter ended March. The revenue from operations for the reporting quarter stood at Rs 2,416 crore, which was up nearly 71% YoY against Rs 1,414 crore reported by the company in the year-ago period.
