Indian frontline indices ended with a sharp decline for the third straight session led by strong selling pressure in bank and financial stocks. While most of the sectors saw profit booking, pharma and health stocks ended in the green. Nifty Pharma was the top gainer with over 1% uptick. The S&P BSE Sensex closed at 65,240, down 542 points or 0.82% while the broader Nifty50 fell 0.74% or 144 points to close at 19,381. Here are the stocks that saw action today:

Mankind Pharma

Shares of Mankind Pharma jumped over 10% to end at Rs 1,912 on the NSE after the company posted strong June quarter earnings on Wednesday followed by a favorable view by brokerage Macquarie.

Titan

Shares of Titan Company fell 3% intraday to the day's low of Rs 2,883 on the NSE after a decline in the June quarter net profit for the jewellery maker.

IRFC

Shares of state-owned IRFC jumped over 14% to hit a new record high of Rs 45 in Thursday's trade on the NSE. The stock has also rallied over 25% in the last five trading sessions on the company signing an MOU with RITES to strengthen cooperation in financing the railway infrastructure projects.

Vedanta

Shares of billionaire Anil Agarwal-led Vedanta tumbled 9% intraday before settling at Rs 254 on the NSE amid reports that Twin Star Holdings, one of the promoters of the metal and mining firm, sold a 4.3% stake in the company through block deals.
