Blizzard has finally revealed the official patch notes for the Diablo 4 Patch 1.1.1. Although the patch is scheduled to be deployed on August 8, 2023, the notes have been released beforehand to give players a fair idea of what's to come once the update goes live. Not only will this patch introduce some major class changes to the game, but there are also some gameplay fixes inbound.

Ever since Diablo 4 Season of the Malignant update went live, a lot of bugs were continuously being spotted in the game. While some of them caused minor hindrances, others made the game unplayable, to say the least.

Having said that, here are all the gameplay changes and bug fixes that are set to go live in the Diablo 4 Patch 1.1.1.

Diablo 4 Season of the Malignant Patch 1.1.1 official notes

Diablo 4 needed a significant gameplay adjustment, especially in terms of boss health and Legendary Item drop rates. While it wasn't that hard to acquire Legendary Items in the game, their drop rates were considerably low, and a lot of repetition occurred.

Once the Diablo 4 Patch 1.1.1 goes live, the drop rates for these Legendary Items will see a considerable buff, and hopefully, the repetition issue will also be sorted out. Other than that, there are some major bug fixes included in this patch, apart from the class balances.

Miscellaneous

These are all the changes that are going to be introduced in the upcoming Diablo 4 1.1.1 update. For the most part, these tweaks are necessary and are based on the feedback that the developers received from players after the 1.1.0 update went live.

For now, these changes look very good in theory. However, it will be worth seeing how they feel within Diablo 4 itself. These tweaks could give the game a breath of fresh air that it so desperately needed.
