Conjunctivitis cases spike in Delhi-NCR; 'disease gets cured automatically in 1-2 weeks', say Doctors

Amid the incessant rainfall that lashed the national capital and other areas for the past few weeks, there have been multiple cases of Conjunctivitis cases reported in Delhi-NCR. According to Dr JS Titiyal, Chief, RP Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences, AIIMS, on July 28 said that a large number of people get affected by the disease in the Delhi-NCR region, and this disease gets cured automatically in 1-2 weeks. Earlier, he claimed that there are almost 100 cases reported in the National Capital per day.
