In the Nifty index, Cipla Ltd.(up 9.64 per cent), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(up 2.06 per cent), Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(up 1.67 per cent), Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(up 1.16 per cent) and Bharti Airtel Ltd.(up 0.65 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(down 6.31 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 3.79 per cent), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(down 2.73 per cent), Britannia Industries Ltd.(down 2.21 per cent) and Nestle India Ltd.(down 2.08 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
