There is good news for married young women in Madhya Pradesh. The registration of married women between the age of 21 and 23 years, under the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan-led state government’s Ladli Behna scheme is set to start on Wednesday, July 25.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in Madhya Pradesh will set up camps in all municipal corporation zones, all city council zones, and gram panchayats, where officials of the women and child welfare department would assist the eligible beneficiaries with completing their registration.

How to Apply For Ladli Behna Yojana 2023
- Eligible women beneficiaries can apply for the offline application form of the Madhya Pradesh Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Scheme.
- The application for Ladli Behna Yojana 2023 will be available at Gram Panchayat Office or Ward Office or at camps.
- The application is free of cost.
- Applicants must fill out the form properly by attaching the required documents.
- The form needs to be submitted to the Gram Panchayat Office or Ward Office.
The authorities will then verify the documents. - If your application is selected, the beneficiary will be informed on her registered mobile number via SMS.
- Financial assistance will be transferred to the bank account of the women beneficiary on the 10th of every month.
Eligibility Criteria For Ladli Behna Yojana 2023
- To be eligible to register Madhya Pradesh Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Scheme, the female applicant should be a permanent resident of Madhya Pradesh.
- She must be a married woman, divorcee, or destitute.
- The Woman’s annual family income must be below Rs. 2.50 Lakh.
- Women between 21 to 60 years of age group are eligible to avail of benefits.
Earlier on June 10, Chief Minister Chouhan announced that the benefits of Ladli Behna Yojna would be extended to married women between 21 and 23 years.
Later in the month, Chouhan said the Rs 1,000 per month that is being given to women beneficiaries as part of the state government’s Ladli Behna scheme will be hiked three times in a phased manner. The announcement about the scheme, which already covers close to 1.25 crore women, comes ahead of the year-end Assembly polls in the state.
