Shutterstock.comNEW DELHI: HDFC Bank(Rs. 4737.48 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 2910.19 crore), ITC(Rs. 2002.16 crore), RIL(Rs. 1498.86 crore), Kotak Bank(Rs. 1492.65 crore), Axis Bank(Rs. 1292.80 crore), SBI(Rs. 1129.48 crore), Tata Steel(Rs. 1041.19 crore), PayTM(Rs. 928.26 crore) and Infosys(Rs. 908.08 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Tuesday's session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 8.25 points up at 19680.6, while BSE Sensex fell 29.07 points to 66355.71.
In the Nifty index, Hindalco Industries Ltd.(up 3.82 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd.(up 3.25 per cent), JSW Steel Ltd.(up 3.21 per cent), NTPC Ltd.(up 2.42 per cent) and UltraTech Cement Ltd.(up 2.11 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Asian Paints Ltd.(down 4.04 per cent), ITC Ltd.(down 1.92 per cent), Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(down 1.70 per cent), Britannia Industries Ltd.(down 1.68 per cent) and IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 1.41 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
