Jyothy Labs(up 19.98%), Mrs Bectors Food Specialities(up 5.53%), Adani Wilmar(up 4.57%), Bikaji Foods International(up 3.58%), Tasty Bite Eatables(up 2.06%), Nakoda Group(up 1.55%), Marico(up 0.97%), Prataap Snacks(up 0.91%), Bajaj Consumer(up 0.77%) and Emami(up 0.67%) stood among the top gainers.
Dodla Dairy(down 6.42%), Heritage Foods(down 5.19%), Euro India Fresh Foods(down 3.63%), Sheetal Cool Products(down 2.99%), P & G Hygiene(down 2.50%), ADF Foods(down 1.72%), Britannia Industries(down 1.68%), Varun Beverages(down 1.60%), JHS Svendgaard Laboratories(down 1.59%) and Vadilal Industries(down 1.25%) were among the top losers of the day.
The NSE Nifty50 index ended 8.25 points up at 19680.6, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed down 29.07 points at 66355.71.
Hindalco Industries(up 3.82%), Tata Steel(up 3.25%), JSW Steel(up 3.21%), NTPC(up 2.42%), UltraTech Cement(up 2.11%), Adani Enterprises(up 2.0%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(up 1.9%), Titan Company Ltd(up 1.67%), Tata Motors(up 1.62%) and Power Grid Corporation of India(up 1.5%) stood among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Asian Paints(down 4.04%), ITC(down 1.92%), Larsen & Toubro(down 1.7%), Britannia Industries(down 1.68%), IndusInd Bank(down 1.41%), State Bank of India(down 1.3%), SBI Life(down 1.22%), Kotak Mahindra Bank(down 1.15%), UPL Ltd(down 0.97%) and Axis Bank(down 0.93%) closed in the red.
