GIFT Nifty on the NSE IX traded 37.5 points, or 0.19 per cent, lower at 19,729, signaling that Dalal Street was headed for negative start on Monday.
Tech View: Nifty support shifts to 19,700
Nifty ended 234 points lower at 19,745 and formed a small red candle with an upper shadow on the daily chart but it cannot yet be called a downward reversal pattern. On the weekly chart, the index formed a shooting star candle type of formation.
