IRCTC shares rise 0.54% as Sensex slides

Shares of the Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation Ltd. traded at Rs 628.35 on BSE at 11:46AM (IST) on Friday, up 0.54 per cent from previous close.

The scrip quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 557.15 and a high of Rs 775.0.

Earlier, shares of the company saw a gap down opening in the morning.

A total of 25,440 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 11:46AM (IST).

The stock of Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation Ltd. commands a market value of Rs 50164.0 crore.

The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 49.87, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 18.5. Return on equity (ROE) was at 40.58 per cent, according to exchange data.

In the BSE500 pack, 227 stocks traded in the green, while 274 stocks were in the red.
