The index closed 146.95 points up at 19711.45.
On the BSE, CWD L, GCM Sec, Uniroyal Ind, PM Telelinks and Bheema Cements Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Panasonic Energy, Softsol India, Precision Camshaft, Taneja Aerospace and DCM Shriram Ind touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
