Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Trigyn Tech, Ashoka Metcast, Tejas Networks, Kellton Tech and Refex Industries, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 29.45 points up at 19413.75 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Urban Enviro Waste, Ortel Communications, Lexus Granito(India), Vilin Bio Med Ltd. and Magson Retail & Dist, touched their fresh 52-week lows.

Overall, 18 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 32 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, TCS, Hindalco, Infosys, LTIMindtree and Tech Mahindra were among top gainers during the day, while Power Grid, UPL, Coal India Ltd, Maruti Suzuki and BPCL ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 164.99 points up at 65558.89.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Miscellaneous, Rubber, IT Software and Services sectors, while selling was witnessed in Real Estate, Media & Entertainment, Irrigation & Allied Services, Petrochemicals and Building Materials sectors during the day.
