BAJAJHIND(down 2.64%), Balrampur Chini Mills(down 2.50%), Sakthi Sugars(down 2.20%), Rajshree Sugars & Chemicals(down 1.96%), Simbhaoli Sugars(down 1.86%), Uttam Sugar Mills(down 1.75%), Vishwaraj Sugar Industries(down 1.52%), Rana Sugars(down 1.48%), Dhampur Sugar Mills(down 1.38%) and K.M.Sugar Mills(down 1.33%) were among the top losers of the day.
The NSE Nifty50 index ended 29.45 points up at 19413.75, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed up 164.99 points at 65558.89.
Tata Consultancy(up 2.47%), Hindalco Industries(up 2.44%), Infosys(up 2.39%), LTIMindtree Ltd(up 1.6%), Bajaj Finserv(up 1.37%), Tech Mahindra(up 1.37%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(up 1.32%), ICICI Bank(up 1.2%), Axis Bank(up 1.07%) and SBI Life(up 1.03%) stood among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Power Grid Corporation of India(down 3.55%), UPL Ltd(down 2.0%), Coal India(down 1.92%), Maruti Suzuki(down 1.91%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation(down 1.72%), NTPC(down 1.52%), Apollo Hospitals Enterprises(down 1.33%), Adani Enterprises(down 1.08%), Eicher Motors(down 1.05%) and Nestle India(down 1.04%) closed in the red.
