According to the weather office, extremely heavy rainfall activity could occur over Northeast India and Sikkim on Thursday. Heavy to very heavy rainfall activity would continue over Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, and West Madhya Pradesh till July 14, and could decrease thereafter. Rainfall over northwest India is likely to decrease, however, it could continue over the Gangetic plains for the next five days.
