Summary

  • Electric vehicle startup Fisker Inc. announced its Q2 production figures and a major convertible bond offering.
  • Despite Fisker making some positive strides, I am hesitant to recommending buying Fisker shares at this time.
  • The Q2 production figures were disappointing and add execution pressure for the rest of 2023.

Fisker always not clear on issues they are facing. They didn't disclose supplier issue early, even though they know it in late last year.
But last 2 months repeatedly mentioned it but no clarity by when it is fully resolved.
What was delay in deliveries by June 10 about 300+ cars produced but not delivered more than 50 in next 40 days, same with 1100 cars produced in Q2 can these get delivered by end of July?

root cause is TRANSPARENCY missing so market hates it.

No matter how you slice it is a gamble. But I will bet on Fisker

How much is a BEV from Fisker going to cost? What is its range? Is it going to be able to use the Tesla Supercharging stations or is it stuck with the other junk/unreliable charge stations? Does it qualify for the full $7500 tax credit? What is the margin of profit on a car sale? Why are none of these questions every addressed? It seems as though they just always address Fisker not meeting any of their production goals… downer.

I actually totally disagree with you! Their reservations are a ton more than Rivian and I have pics of Oceans being delivered in the US. Henrik noted they have worked out the supply chain to keep up with their demand! The demand is is above and beyond what I thought it would be.

You don’t have to buy but the market demand is there and momentum has started!

PT of FSR should be north of $30! They are far ahead of where Tesla was when they started with a ton less $expenses and manufacturing costs !

Hands down Fisker is a strong buy!

If they had worked out the supply chain, they wouldn't have cut guidance for this year (which was disappointing to begin with) and then missed guidance in Q2.

I can agree that for many potential investors it's a show me stock.
