Aro Granite Industries(down 3.23%), Oriental Trimex(down 2.40%), Ashapura Minechem(down 1.03%), Lexus Granito(down 0.47%) and Coal India(down 0.11%) were among the top losers of the day.
The NSE Nifty50 index ended 24.1 points up at 19355.9, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed up 63.72 points at 65344.17.
Reliance Industries(up 3.85%), Tata Steel(up 3.32%), JSW Steel(up 2.82%), Bharti Airtel(up 1.72%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(up 1.54%), Bajaj Auto(up 1.32%), Adani Enterprises(up 1.29%), Hindalco Industries(up 1.22%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(up 0.9%) and IndusInd Bank(up 0.73%) stood among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Titan Company Ltd(down 3.13%), HCL Technologies(down 2.86%), Power Grid Corporation of India(down 2.13%), Tata Consultancy(down 1.72%), Hindustan Unilever(down 1.54%), Wipro(down 1.49%), Nestle India(down 1.42%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation(down 1.39%), Axis Bank(down 1.3%) and Bajaj Finance(down 1.17%) closed in the red.
