    NEW DELHI: Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 41.50 crore), Reliance Power(numbers of share traded: 28.48 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 26.49 crore), Bank of Maharashtra(numbers of share traded: 8.31 crore), Dish TV India(numbers of share traded: 8.25 crore), PNB(numbers of share traded: 7.55 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 5.92 crore), BHEL(numbers of share traded: 5.64 crore), NHPC(numbers of share traded: 5.05 crore) and SJVN(numbers of share traded: 4.68 crore) emerged top gainers in Thursday's market in terms of trading volume.

    The NSE Nifty index closed 98.8 points up at 19497.3, while BSE Sensex ended up 339.6 points at 65785.64.

    On the other hand, Eicher Motors Ltd.(down 2.65 per cent), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 1.85 per cent), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(down 1.33 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 1.18 per cent) and Bajaj Finance Ltd.(down 0.92 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
