Not to be negative but want to point out that some of us purchased AAL 5 years ago in the $35+ range only to see the stock value dive, (some of it rightfully so,) and quickly an end of dividends... all before covid... a short lived recovery 2 years ago back to $25 only lasted for a day or two followed by downward spiral to near covid levels again. Lesson learned with airline stocks...if we hit $24 I'm out...

Not really a pairs trade candidate. $AAL is a good long, $AI is a tough short, but they don't have any connection to pair up.
