Man dies after suffering electric shock in Mathura

Mathura, Jul 3 (PTI) A devotee from Delhi was killed after receiving an electric shock while drinking water from a dispenser here, police said on Monday.

The incident took place on Sunday when one Ravi (35) was doing a ‘parikrama’ of the ‘Giriraj Parvat’ during the ongoing Mudia Purnima fair, they said.

He stopped to drink water from a water cooler on the parikrama route and was electrocuted. He was taken to a hospital where doctors declared him dead, they said.
