The Hyderabad Police has issued guidelines to regulate vehicle movement and manage traffic restrictions during the Bakrid celebrations at Mir Alam Tank Eidgah on Thursday.
The aim of these guidelines is to facilitate uninterrupted traffic flow while individuals gather to participate in Eid prayers at the Eidgah.
As per the guidelines, vehicles heading from Puranapul, Kamatipura, and Kishanbagh to Mir Alam Tank Eidgah for the purpose of prayers will have permission to pass through Bahadurpura X Roads from 8:00 am to 11:30 am.
These vehicles will be instructed to park at the assigned parking areas, which include Zoo Park or the vacant area opposite Masjid Allah-ho-Akbar. Simultaneously, regular traffic will be diverted away from Eidgah and Tadban, and rerouted towards Kishanbagh, Kamatipura, and Puranapul.
Vehicles travelling from Shivarampally and Danamma Huts to Mir Alam Tank Eidgah for prayers will have the opportunity to pass through Dannama Huts X Roads between 8:00 am and 11:30 am.
They will be permitted to park at various designated areas, including the Modern Saw Mill Parking, the front of Eidgah main road, the Mir Alam filter bed, the open space beside the Mir Alam filter bed, and opposite Sufi Cars (for four-wheelers) and Yadav Parking (for four-wheelers).
Vehicles originating from Shivarampally and Danamma Huts will be allowed to pass through Dannama Huts X Roads between 8:00 am and 11:30 am.
During this time, these vehicles can be parked at specific locations, which include Modern Saw Mill Parking, Eidgah main road, Mir Alam filter bed, the adjacent open space to the Mir Alam filter bed, Sufi Cars (for four-wheelers), and Yadav Parking (for four-wheelers).
Vehicles arriving from Kalapather will be granted access through Kalapathar L&O Police Station between 8:00 am and 11:30 am. The assigned parking areas for these vehicles are Bhayya Parking and the Indian Oil petrol bunk.
In the meantime, regular traffic will be redirected at Kalapathar L&O Police Station towards Mochi Colony, Bhadurpura, Shamsheergunj, and Nawab Saheb Kunta.
To ensure a smooth flow of traffic, heavy vehicles such as RTC Buses travelling from Puranapul to Bhadurpura will be rerouted at Puranapul Darwaza towards Jiaguda and City College until the prayers at the Eidgah are concluded. Similarly, heavy vehicles from Shamshabad, Rajendra Nagar, and Milardevpally heading towards Bhadurpura will be diverted at Aramghar Junction towards Shamshabad, Rajendra Nagar, or Mailardevpally until the gathering disperses.
