The debris of OceanGate's Titan submersible was brought ashore on Wednesday by a Canadian-flagged vessel. The submersible imploded during its voyage to the centuries-old wreckage of Titanic, killing all five people on board including the CEO of OceanGate Stockton Rush.

The debris will be taken for investigation and is expected to shed more light on the causes of the catastrophic implosion which took five crucial lives.

The authorities of Canada and the United States have committed to a detailed investigation of the implosion of the OceanGate submersible. The tragedy also raises questions over the unregulated nature of such expeditions and how much personal safety can be compromised on such adventures.
"Our team has successfully completed off-shore operations, but is still on mission and will be in the process of demobilization from the Horizon Arctic this morning," Pelagic Research, which operates the robotic vehicle, said in a statement.
Additionally captured on film was a fragment of the ship's hull in a fragmented state, as well as dismantled machinery and exposed wires being removed from the vessel at St. John's, the departure point for the Titanic expedition.
Last week, the Coast Guard informed that the debris of Titan was located about 12,500 feet (3,810 meters) underwater and roughly 1,600 feet (488 meters) from the Titanic on the ocean floor.

Pelagic Research Services said their mission is still on and they would refrain from commenting on the investigative details of implosion of Titan submersible. “They have been working around the clock now for ten days, through the physical and mental challenges of this operation, and are anxious to finish the mission and return to their loved ones," the company's statement said.
