Rama Phosphates(up 9.30%), Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals(up 1.75%), Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 1.65%), Sikko Industries(up 1.61%), G S F C(up 1.46%), KRISHANA(up 1.03%), Coromandel International(up 0.88%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(up 0.69%), Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers (up 0.67%) and Agro Phos(up 0.43%) stood among the top gainers.
Madras Fertlizers(down 2.77%), Paradeep Phosphates(down 0.64%), Deepak Fertilizers & Petrochemicals(down 0.40%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries(down 0.23%), Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers(down 0.22%), National Fertilizer(down 0.21%) and Madhya Bharat Agro Products(down 0.19%) were among the top losers of the day.
The NSE Nifty50 index ended 25.7 points up at 18691.2, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed down 9.37 points at 62970.0.
Cipla(up 3.28%), Adani Enterprises(up 2.78%), Hero MotoCorp(up 2.7%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(up 2.58%), Divis Laboratories(up 2.06%), UPL Ltd(up 1.85%), Mahindra & Mahindra(up 1.78%), Maruti Suzuki(up 1.53%), Hindalco Industries(up 1.52%) and Tata Motors(up 1.47%) stood among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, NTPC(down 0.96%), Tata Consultancy(down 0.83%), Reliance Industries(down 0.76%), Coal India(down 0.71%), Power Grid Corporation of India(down 0.64%), Larsen & Toubro(down 0.5%), HDFC Bank(down 0.48%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation(down 0.36%), Bajaj Auto(down 0.34%) and Bharti Airtel(down 0.33%) closed in the red.
