Oriental Trimex(down 3.23%), 20 Microns(down 2.63%), Madhav Marbles and Granites(down 1.85%), Gujarat Mineral Dvpt Corporation(down 1.52%), Ashapura Minechem(down 0.97%), Coal India(down 0.71%), MOIL(down 0.31%) and KIOCL(down 0.05%) were among the top losers of the day.
The NSE Nifty50 index ended 25.7 points up at 18691.2, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed down 9.37 points at 62970.0.
Cipla(up 3.28%), Adani Enterprises(up 2.78%), Hero MotoCorp(up 2.7%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(up 2.58%), Divis Laboratories(up 2.06%), UPL Ltd(up 1.85%), Mahindra & Mahindra(up 1.78%), Maruti Suzuki(up 1.53%), Hindalco Industries(up 1.52%) and Tata Motors(up 1.47%) stood among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, NTPC(down 0.96%), Tata Consultancy(down 0.83%), Reliance Industries(down 0.76%), Coal India(down 0.71%), Power Grid Corporation of India(down 0.64%), Larsen & Toubro(down 0.5%), HDFC Bank(down 0.48%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation(down 0.36%), Bajaj Auto(down 0.34%) and Bharti Airtel(down 0.33%) closed in the red.
