The NSE Nifty index closed 25.7 points up at 18691.2, while BSE Sensex ended down 9.37 points at 62970.0.
On the other hand, NTPC Ltd.(down 0.96 per cent), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(down 0.83 per cent), Reliance Industries Ltd.(down 0.76 per cent), Coal India Ltd.(down 0.71 per cent) and Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 0.64 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
The NSE Nifty index closed 25.7 points up at 18691.2, while BSE Sensex ended down 9.37 points at 62970.0.
