Vadodara: Members of the International Vishwa Hindu Parishad (IVHP) in Dahod made representations alleging that a teacher from a school in the town was promoting religious conversion. The school and teacher have denied the allegations.
IVHP activists reached the school on Friday claiming that a woman teacher there promoted conversion during a class on Saturday last. They threatened to conduct an agitation if action was not taken regarding the matter. The teacher on the other end told the media that she was teaching a poem by Rabindranath Tagore in the class. She said that during the class, she never promoted any act related to conversions. The principal said that the school respected all religions.
