Guv takes notes of people’s grievances
Dumka: Governor CP Radhakrishnan interacted with common people, heard their grievances and assured resolving them all during his visit to different places of Pakur and Sahibganj districts on Friday.
"My aim is to engage in dialogue with the common people so as to perceive the crisis they are facing. Therefore, I came here to meet you people today," Radhakrishnan said while engaging in dialogue with the people in Gopaldih Panchayat of Barhet block of Sahebganj district.
He said that people are the actual king in the democracy as they themselves choose their representatives for the governance.
The Governor also highlighted various development schemes that have been introduced by the central and state government for the upliftment of common people.
"Work is on to make drinking water available in each and every household. The respective administration must also make alternative arrangements like deep boring and hand pumps until the mega drinking water project is completed," Radhakrishnan said.
He also directed the banks to disburse loans to the willing people to enable them make a living on their own. Radhakrishnan appreciated the works undertaken by 24 women self help groups (SGH) and said that more women should be encouraged to join them.

Sahibganj deputy commissioner Ram Niwas Yadav acquainted the governor with the ongoing development schemes in the district. He also distributed Rs 75,50,000 to the SHGs apart from issuing benefits of different government schemes among the beneficiaries.
