NOIDA: Two youngsters were arrested by the Railway Protection Force after a video of them posing on top of a moving goods train was circulated on social media on Thursday.
The social media reel showed the duo, identified as Rinku (22) and Prince (19), bare-chested flexing their muscles as the train crossed a waterbody. The video starts with one standing wide-legged on the train's roof, between two compartments. As the train moves across a small waterbody, the second man comes into focus.
Officials said one is a student at an Industrial Training Institute, while the other is a school student. Both are residents of Jarcha, Gautam Buddh Nagar.
A senior police officer said Rinku and Prince have been held under sections of the Railways Act, 1989, for "performing stunts" on the train.
"The two men said they were making the video to mark international yoga day and to become popular on social media," said an official.
