The search for the missing Titan submersible has come to a tragic end with the discovery of debris near the Titanic shipwreck by deep-sea robot, indicating a catastrophic implosion that killed all five people on board. Among the victims of the implosion were Oceangate CEO and Titan pilot Stockton Rush, Shahzada Dawood and his son Suleman Dawood from a prominent Pakistani family, British adventurer Hamish Harding, and Titanic expert Paul-Henri Nargeolet.

Recently, it has come to light that Shahzada Dawood had previously experienced a harrowing flight incident that left him fearing for his life. In a blog post from 2019, Shahzada's wife, Christine Dawood, recounted the ordeal they went through.

Christine's blog post, titled "Living With Anxiety," shared on a website called Next Step Now sheds light on their journey and the transformative experiences they encountered. She wrote, "I started out as an engineer because a teacher told me I'm good with numbers, and I chose the textile industry because of my parents' family business. Then life happened, and I needed to re-evaluate, needed to change and re-orient."

Describing the pivotal moment that altered their lives, Christine shared how a flight they were about to board was cancelled, and they were rebooked on the next available one. Shortly after take-off, the plane suddenly dropped, creating a moment of panic and distress. Christine vividly recalled the terrifying experience, with the cabin filled with cries, followed by silence as they experienced severe turbulence.

“The plane plunged again, and shook left and right. I felt like a grain in a big bag of sand, or a boxer being soundly defeated – punched from all directions," Christine said. She likened the sensation to being a grain in a bag of sand or a boxer being relentlessly attacked from all directions. Gripping the armrests tightly, she desperately searched for stability in the midst of the chaotic metal tube thousands of feet above the ground.

In the midst of this terrifying ordeal, Christine made a personal vow that if they were to land safely, she would never touch a cigarette again. Darkness enveloped the cabin as storm clouds gathered around them, intensifying their fear and testing their resilience, reported HT.

“Shake left, shake right! My head hit the window. Then came an announcement. It was the captain telling us that he would try to land from a different angle. The engines roared and we gained height again," she added.

The ordeal lasted a long time, but eventually, they landed safely. Despite the relief of survival, Christine found it difficult to process the experience fully. The incident had profoundly changed her life, leaving her throat constricted and her perception of reality altered forever.
