Five important primacies of the G20 tourism path

Five important primacies of the G20 tourism path, comprising green tourism, digitalization and destination managing, were recognized wholly by the G20 countries for attaining a maintainable, buoyant and comprehensive development in the segment.

A Goa roadmap and action plan along with a ministerial result file was presented at the conclusion of the G20 ministerial meeting. Before this meeting, the Tourism Working Group (TWG) meeting was held.

Around 130 delegates from countries like the US, the UK, South Africa, Russia, Mauritius and Spain along
with top international organizations participated in the ministerial conference.

The delegates were welcomed by Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India with the help of a recorded
video communication.

G Kishan Reddy, the Union Tourism Minister also spoke to the delegates in advance of the discussions.
