In the Nifty index, IndusInd Bank Ltd.(up 2.83 per cent), Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(up 1.93 per cent), Asian Paints Ltd.(up 1.53 per cent), Bharti Airtel Ltd.(up 1.42 per cent) and NTPC Ltd.(up 1.19 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 6.83 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 4.20 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 3.70 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 2.75 per cent) and Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(down 2.28 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
