The photo which is taken in lavish surroundings in an unknown location sees Sheikh Jassim alongside two brothers and his father, engaging in discussion.

The photo posted on Instagram is accompanied by the caption: “With the boys Jassim, Saheem bin Khalid and Fahad, and the second photo, consultations with Bou Saud for dinner.”

Sheikh Jassim's bid for the Old Trafford club see him go head to head with British billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe, who claims to be a lifelong Manchester United supporter.

However, the Qatari bid is believed to be the current frontrunner despite no decision being made yet on who will take the reins.

Sheikh Jassim is believed to be growing in confidence that his bid will be accepted by the Glazers.

Former United defender Rio Ferdinand has been an advocate for a full sale of the club and hopes the Qatari bid proves successful, as United look to compete with Manchester City again for football’s biggest prizes.

He told the Vibe with Five podcast: "We're hearing the Qatari bid is the one that's taking over, it's the one that is going to be accepted and it's the one that is going to go through. Hallelujah, man! We can't wait, please let this happen, please let it be true man.”

Ferdinand’s sentiments are shared with many fans of the Red Devils who hope the Glazers opt for a 100 percent sale of the club.
