‘God like figure in India’: US Congressman Michael McCaul hails PM Modi’s address at US Congress

US House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Michael McCaul on June 23 lauded PM Modi’s address at the joint session and said that he is a god-like figure in India. Speaking to ANI, McCaul said, “It was a fantastic speech talking about the unity between the United States and India. It was a very moving speech. It was great to have Indian-Americans in the gallery. They were so passionate about this man. You get the sense that this man is god-like in his country.”
