Hope India will perform well at Paris 2024 Olympics, says IOA President PT Usha

PT Usha who is the President of the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) asserted that Indian players are preparing well for the Paris 2024 Olympics. “I think preparations are going on very well. Our players are doing good. I hope that this time we will have a good performance in Paris…” PT Usha on India’s preparation for Paris 2024 Olympics. While talking to the media at a sports event in Delhi, Joint Secretary of IOA Kalyan Chaubey informed that on the request of the Ministry of Sports, IOA has written to the Olympic Committee of Asia requesting the extension of dates for protesting wrestlers. “We have got an application through the ad-hock committee and also from the Ministry of Sports asking for an extension of the participation date...We have forwarded that to the Olympic Committee of Asia, we received a letter yesterday that said they are in talks with the hosting country that is china...IOA will do every possible effort to support every Indian sportsperson and of course wrestlers,” said Kalyan Chaubey.
