UK retail sales rise 0.3% in May, beating consensus estimates

UK retail sales rise 0.30% in May of 2023 over the previous month. The rise is lower than 0.5% seen in the previous month. The consensus figure was -0.2%.

Retail sales witnessed a drop of 2.10% in May of 2023 over the same month in the previous year.
