Opposition should first read about Veer Savarkar: Gulab Devi, UP secondary education minister

The students of Classes 9 to 12 in UP board will now have to study the biography of Veer Savarkar. Apart from Savarkar, the chapters on the life of 50 other great men have been included in the syllabus. They include Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, Mahavir Jain, Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya, Raja Ram Mohan Roy, Sarojini Naidu, Nana Saheb and Ramakrishna Paramhansa among others. On opposition’s criticism about addition of chapter on Savarkar, Gulab Devi, UP secondary education minister, said the opposition should first read about him.
