Stock market update: Nifty Realty index falls 0.06% in a weak market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded negative around 11:11AM(IST)on Thursday in a weak market.

Indiabulls Real Estate(up 0.66 per cent), Macrotech Developers(up 0.53 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects(up 0.21 per cent) and SOBHA(up 0.06 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Brigade Enterprises(down 0.66 per cent), Oberoi Realty(down 0.54 per cent), Mahindra Lifespace Developers(down 0.42 per cent), Godrej Properties(down 0.29 per cent) and Phoenix Mills(down 0.07 per cent) were the top losers on the index.

The Nifty Realty index was down 0.06 per cent at 513.85 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 0.45 points at 18856.4, while the BSE Sensex was down 47.89 points at 63475.26.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 20 were trading in the green, while 29 were in the red.

Shares of Alok Industries, Vodafone Idea, Suzlon Energy, Reliance Power and IDFC First Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Uttam Sugar Mil, Crayons Advertising, Blue Chip India, Aether Industries and Vasa Denticity hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Sri Adhikari, Sindhu Trade, Cerebra Integrat, Lexus Granito(India)and Viji Finance hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
