PATNA: The delegates of different countries who reached here to attend the meeting of the labour engagement group of G20 over the next two days were taken to a visit of the Bihar museum, a rich treasure of art and culture of the state, on Wednesday.
It was the first programme after their arrival in the state capital. On reaching the
Bihar Museum, the visitors were greeted in the traditional way with presentation of bouquets.
They visited the galleries and expressed pleasure over the rich collection and their proper maintenance. They were taken to the orientation hall for a brief welcome meeting by the director general of Bihar Museum Anjani Kumar Singh.
A film based on the rich historical and cultural items kept there was also screened there for the foreign visitors. Additional director of Bihar Museum Ashok Kumar Sinha said the guests looked excited while watching various items properly arranged in the museum galleries and described them as unique and unimaginative.
The G20 delegates were later taken to the museum's—Pot Belly—restaurant and served with various Bihar dishes.
