UC to hold Big 12 preview party at Rhinegeist on Friday, June 30
The day before they officially join the Big 12, University of Cincinnati athletics will usher in the new conference at Rhinegeist Brewery on June 30

Prior to their first day in their new Power Five conference, University of Cincinnati athletics will host a Big 12 Bash event on Friday, June 30, at Rhinegeist Brewery to celebrate. UC's entry into the Big 12 becomes official at midnight on July 1.
When does it begin?
The festivities start at 12 p.m. with several family-friendly activities, including a photo booth, video games, and inflatables. ESPN 1530's Mo Egger of UC Bearcat football and basketball broadcasts begins the formal program at 7 p.m.

What else is involved?
Fans in attendance will be eligible for 12 hours of Skyline Chili fun, with giveaways happening every hour. Skyline gift cards, prizes, and more will be up for grabs. Limited-edition UC, Rhinegeist and Skyline gear will also be given away. Fans may register for giveaways on gobearcats.com/contests starting Monday, June 26.
The UC pep band and spirit squad will perform and there will be a happy hour meet-and-greet event before the formal 7 p.m. remarks. The rest of the night features music and entertainment culminating with the Bearcats officially becoming members of the Big 12 at midnight.

There is parking across the street in the lot, on Elm Street itself, and also at Findlay Market. Additionally, the Connector Streetcar has a stop directly in front of Rhinegeist.
New Cincy Light release benefiting NIL collective, Cincy Reigns
Rhinegeist's partnership brew with Cincy Reigns will be available for Cincinnati fans starting at 12 noon after the official first tapping. For every pint of Cincy Light sold at the event on June 30, $1 will be contributed to Cincy Reigns.
The specially-designed beer in the red and black can will be available at various bars and restaurants around Cincinnati beginning on Saturday, July 1.
