In the Nifty 50 index, Eicher Motors, HDFC Life, Divis Labs, Hero MotoCorp and BPCL were among the top gainers on the NSE.
Tata Steel, Infosys, Bajaj Finance, Tata Consumer and Power Grid were among the top losers.
