The Tourism Ministry of Oman stated that in January 2023, the arrivals from India were around 38,279. It was more than the pre-COVID figures which was almost 29,094.

In April, after experiencing the enormous rise in the flow of Indian tourists against the same time last year, they are quite positive that Oman will soon turn into a favored travel destination for Indian tourists, claimed the Country Manager, Oman Tourism India office, Arjun Chadha.
Oman, famous for its magnificent landscapes, hospitality, and old history, has unmatched hotspots to explore, together with the Ministry and its partners initiations have culminate in this unexpected flow of Indian tourists, Chadha added.
In addition to the marketing investments in tourism, Oman has conducted activities like arranging roadshows in five cities and having city sales mission in four Indian cities to promote travel in cooperation through different media outlets.
As per the declaration of the Ministry, to improve its existence in the Indian market, Oman Tourism will get its promotional campaigns bigger via, sales missions, collaborative initiations, FAM trips, and roadshows.
Of late, in Indian cities like Kochi, Hyderabad and Kolkata, Oman Tourism organized sales mission which was also honored by the presence of the MHT Head office, Muscat.
